Watch the Sermon here The First United Presbyterian Church “All Saints' Day” Rev. Amy Morgan November 2, 2025 Psalm 139:1-18 O Lord, you have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up;     you discern my thoughts from far away. You search out my path and my lying down     and are acquainted with all my ways. Even before a word is on my tongue,     O Lord, you know it completely. You hem me in, behind and before,     and lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;     it is so high that I cannot attain it. Where can I go from your spirit?     Or where can I flee from your presence? Watch the Sermon here  The First United Presbyterian Church “The Heart of the Matter: More Than We Could Ask or Imagine” Rev. Amy Morgan October 26, 2025 Ephesians 3:20-21   Now to God, who by the power at work within us is able to accomplish abundantly far more than all we can ask or imagine, to God be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. He sold his stake to the other two partners, Steve Jobs and Steve Wozniak, less than two weeks after the company went into business, for $800. Today, his share of the company would be worth hundreds of billions of dollars.   Lack of imagination can be costly. And chu...

Watch the Sermon here The First United Presbyterian Church “The Heart of the Matter: Filled with All the Fullness of God” Rev. Amy Morgan October 19, 2025 Ephesians 3:18-19 I pray that you may have the power to comprehend, with all the saints, what is the breadth and length and height and depth and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. It’s the classic question, right? Is the glass half full, or half empty? It says something about how we perceive reality. Are we grateful for the half we have, or upset about the half that is lacking? Are we hopeful that the rest will fill up, or are we anxious that we’ll empty out?   But these are not the only two ways we experience life. Sometimes, we feel like this: fill glass all the way full. Our metaphorical bucket is full. We feel like we’ve got enough – time, energy, resources, emotional capacity, knowledge, etc. We feel like we are enough. We’re feeling confident, groun...
